This is a reboot of the archived cache by Mountain Roamer "In the Rocks by the River".

It was a fun find for us in October 2017 and we wanted to resurrect it for others to look for.

From the original cache description:

This cache is an ammo can hidden in the rocks along the Cache La Poudre River.

There is plenty of parking off the highway and a footpath will lead you to within 40 feet of the cache. The parking area will put you on the correct side of the river, so there's not need to get wet to get this cache....unless you want to! However, I wouldn't recommend it

It's an easy 0.12 mile walk to the cache on an easy to follow and fairly flat trail. You can follow the trail to within 40 feet of the cache.

The Terrain rating of 3.5 is because of the short climb up the rocks to the cache. The climb to the cache is not at all technical but be careful, just in case there are loose rocks.

This cache is kid friendly and the path should not be a problem, but please keep a close eye on children. The river is near by and don't forget about the rocks.

Enjoy the walk!
Thank you Mountain Roamer for the original hide!

Found easily on my trip from Laramie/WY to Breckenridge. Very scenic and aptly named valley that doesn't feature in most travel guides but is nonetheless certainly worth a detour. Thx for showing me this beautiful place.
