Thanks to an assist on fine tuning the translation from a previous finder I was able to make the find. Cache is still in great shape even though the cover doesn’t close quite as securely anymore. Thanks for the fun letterbox cache.

I had done the desk work prior to arriving at the cache, and thought I had the correct coordinates for the final, but upon arrival, I didn't find anything that resembled a good hiding spot. I searched for a couple of minutes and didn't spot anything. I decided to call it and head back to the hotel when I decided I ought to recheck my calculations since the location didn't seem right, and seemed too close to the previous waypoint. I think I may have ended up using the wrong unit, and when I recomputed the final again, I found out I was wrong. I was able to go back and a little searching uncovered this well hidden cache. Unfortunately, the container no longer has the flaps. It was dry inside though. I tried to get it back as I found it, but not sure if I got it back with the seal intact. Hopefully I did, or its going to be soggy mess for the next finder. Thanks for the cache.

This one has been in my not quite solved file for almost 3 years. I finally got info on how to arrange what I had translated so that it made sense from a previous finder. Made it to the final today. Sadly the "ears" on the container have all broken off now.

Thanks for the fun Letterbox Cache! I've looked at this a few times, but never sat down to do the work. Today marks my 700th day in my running streak so I wanted something special and different. This one looked to fit the bill! I worked through the translation but needed just a nudge on a couple of words I couldn't read. Once that was squared away I was able to plot my course of action. At the GZ I was able to track this one down right away. I even found a trackable that's been stashed here for a bit. Thanks for the great hunt! Signed and stamped the log and returned everything as found. Cache is perfectly dry and in good condition!

Nice cache! Solving the puzzle amounted to my asking the mother of the 3 Williams Kidz to translate it. We lived in Italy from 2000-2003 while I was stationed there during my time in the US Navy (it was a NATO billet assignment in Bella Napoli). She took one-on-one Italian lessons while we were there, and has continued conversational Italian, so getting the translation was quick and easy. Made the stop at GZ today, and found the container easily. Stamped the log, dropped off a trackable, and traded some swag. While the container is still OK for now, it could use replacing sometime soon, as only one of the snap-latches is still attached, rendering it not 100% waterproof. TFTC !

After completing a discussion on geocaching with a local cub scout troop, the wife and I headed over to try our updated coordinates. Score!
