A small walk-up cache near Chatfield State Park’s Kingfisher parking lot; for access you need to have a CO state park pass, pay an entrance fee ($5 - $7, varies seasonally), or take a multi-mile hike / bike ride in.

Park in Kingfisher lot at N 39°31.238' W 105°04.921', walk east along the main road, then north along the bike path. A fun cache for families with small kids. Due to previous vandalism and water issues, this cache has been refurbished as a micro cache with "Rite-in-the-Rain" paper -- bring a "Sharpie" pen or pencil to write in the log sheets.

Ms. Anne and I decided to go find a few Chatfield State Park geocaches last week. We failed to find this one, so I went out again this morning, equipped with a few spoiler photos from previous finders.

Even with the photos, it took a while (while I was donating blood to the skeeters) to find the right tree. I finally found it and signed the log.

Signed the log KAJW. Took nothing. Left nothing. Thanks for the cache!
