This cache is located by Olney Springs, Colorado. Not a lot around this area but we sure can make it a nice spot for geocachers. This is one of many planned caches to hopefully get a nice power trail going in the area.

As always, with this type of desert terrain, be watchful and cautious for things that poke, sting and bite. And remember, a good cacher always practices CITO if needed! Thanks for visiting our neck of the woods and happy caching!

Tam o' Shanter Hat - 19th Century nickname for the traditional Scottish bonnett worn by men. It is name after Tam o' Shanter, the eponymous hero of the poem by Robert Burns of 1790.

Decided to hit the road for a geocaching mini trip. Looks like I am getting a nice variety of traditionals, a few virtuals and ECs. I am really pleased to find Colorado Spirit Quests. Thanks to all the COs who placed these caches so I can have my geo-fun.
