This cache is located along the perimeter of the Maple Hill subdivision. The road eastward dead-ends at the canal, for now. A new development is in the works which will extend the roadway to the east.

I went to the edge of the field on this cold morning and padded around in the fresh snow on my search. It wasn’t too long before I was signing the cache log in the {FTF} position. My puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo managed to find something disgusting to chew on, making this cache find a bit more memorable than it would be otherwise. Oh, I took a big chance and parked for a few minutes in the bike lane adjacent to the cache location. Oh, my. Of course I never saw a biker. Nor did a car drive by on this deserted roadway while I was there. Perhaps all that will change when they extend the road East...! In view of what is scheduled to happen soon to that land to the East, this neighborhood will change dramatically!!
