The cache is not really in somebody's backyard firepit. Don't go there!
A while back, I was writing JavaScript just to brush up on what was new at the time. I never thought it would be put to use for anything worthwhile. I hope you enjoy this puzzle cache using something I wrote back in 2001.
NOTE: I know it's missing a few teams. I'm not sure why. Maybe the list I found back then pre-dated the Titans & Texans. I probably omitted the Ravens on purpose, since I'm from Cleveland.
Puzzle part I: You can print this page and do it manually, or you can use the original page that I created back in 2001 via the "Related Web Page" link under the D/T stars.

12/22/2017 By jasperdakota Really fun and funny puzzle! Managed to solve part I myself, but needed a hint for part II. Caching in the Springs for a couple of days. SL.
08/19/2017 By ladditude We've had this puzzle solved for some time and decided that today, the International Day of Geocaching, was the right time to find and log it! The puzzle is terrific and so was so fun to work on... Thanks THeSKull! I think you deserve another favorite point for this! And it's a beautiful morning to be out, things are finally drying out! 04/28/2017 By LilRyRy I found it with my mommy and baby brother, thanks for the cache!
04/28/2017 By shelleah I solved this one on 3/2/17 while hanging out in a hotel waiting to move out of Florida. I tried one thing, then the opposite, then a completely wrong thing, then finally made the math work. I attempted to cheat on the last number but the Geochecker announced my calculation error, which I identified and fixed. Locating the cache at GZ was simple, but getting the lid off was a challenge, haha. I broke a nail before deciding to use my mini Leatherman, then accessed the wrong end first. I got our signatures on the log in the end though. Thanks for the fun puzzle!
