Welcome to the Schoolhouse Well No. 18!

Some time back Kerewin0430 gave me this little wooden box and asked if I thought I could use it for something fun.  Well it sat around for a bit and I would take a peek every so often crafting an idea and concept.  Slowly I added a section here and there until it finally came together!  Fun what you can do with a few popcicle sticks, glue, modgepodge, and paint!!

Upon completion I set out to find the perfect spot for this container.  After a couple misses I remembered this location.  But alas.... It was taken.  I reached out to Tom.dog who graciously archived his cache here in order to make room for this one. Shout out to such an amazing cacher!  Thank you Tom.dog!!!

What you will find here is a cute piece of architecture covering a well and pump station.  It's a pretty neat structure!  The container is big enough for some small swag and small trackables. The log is inside the camo'd container inside.  It should be obvious how to open it but in case you don't notice there is a latch on the bottom.  The door has a stop built in so no worries of it falling to the ground.  I've done my best to waterproof it and if closed up correctly it should keep the inside dry.  If you happen to notice that it's not living up to the elements please alert me in your log.

Thanks for taking the time to check out this cache.  Hope you find the container and location fun and interesting.

I'm amazed how some cachers treat nice caches. Cache was full of some kind of small dust, jammed shut, and the top is now broken. I was able to do repairs so it is accessible again and log. I'm not sure when or if I can repair the top but I will give it a try. Please be gentle! No need to break anything. CO might want to put this back to Premium Only.

Once we learned about the Hidden Creature Challenge we knew we would have to travel in order to complete the challenge. We simply did not have one hundred caches within 40 miles to be able to log.. Since we had not been in the Pueblo area for years we decided to cache our way to and then in the area.

Day one started cool as we left very early in the morning, then grew to a very hot day. We performed maintenance for numerous cache owners. We replaced wet and full logs as well as broken and incomplete containers. We also replaced complete caches that were missing and accumulating numerous DNF's. We also had DNF's of our own on caches that were recently found but did not replace those. Nicely done cache container, Scores a fav plusApproveApproveApprove SL,TNLN, Discovered the TB

Thank you RPieperCO for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Out geocaching with Hammerhead53. Another one of RPieper amazing caches. The craftsmanship on this container is awesome, definitely deserves one of my star! We signed the log H53 & C58 and discovered a trackable. Thanks once more RPieper!
