I was glad to see an open spot in this great Sand Creek trail where I handcycle often... in this segment of the trail there is just not too many spots in the "safe" side to place & target, but this particular one was good enough to make you search & guess a little!

A camoed small plastic box with a "guardian" [please place back on top again], some room for very small swag action, maybe even for a small TB, the log is in there somewhere too with it's own extracting tool in case you forget your TOTT. 

FTF gets a little present and I left some extra swag for the next cachers, Have a great bike ride!

Out geocaching with LASouthpaw today, finding caches in the Commerce City area. We parked at various trail heads, wandered around a bit, and had some pretty good luck with finds, and only one DNF.
Pretty quiet along the trail today, which is in need of some CITO love. Stepped over a syringe at GZ to get to the cache!

This cache find has a crazy story to go with it! We were geocycling from NW Denver out along the Platte Trail and Sand Creek Trail. I picked two geocaches for us to find along our route. One of them was Fenced Forest. We put our bikes out of the way of the path as soon as we got to GZ for this one. I ready the cache description and it told us how the CO likes to bike along here on his hand-powered bicycle. No sooner had we started rooting around, then a hand biker comes around the corner. I thought to myself, what a coincidence because the CO rides a hand bike. Well, he stopped to ask us if we were geocaching and HE WAS THE CO!!?? What are the chances of that happening. Anyway, edu007 assured us that we were on the correct side of the path for the cache and we made a quick find. Here is a picture of me (Jen - half of geocyclists85) with the CO. The other half of geocyclists85 - Tricia - was taking the photo. Thanks edu007 for getting us out for a great ride and for stopping to say hello.

NTM and I woke up early, but not too early to set out on this caching adventure. We hit the trail at about 9:45am and made our way through our list for the day. Roundtrip, about 7.5 miles and we were back at the car before 2pm. Only 2 DNFs made for a pretty successful day before the snow starts up again tonight. Thanks for all of the caches.

Today after work I came down to this bike path to grab as many along the trail as possible. Luckily I was able to grab all of the caches intended, with only 2 DNFs.
Nice SWAG in this one. I found a Narops (buddhist college) button inside. After caching today I am headed to a nearby Buddhist Center. Tftc!

Went out and about with Sqweeter today for some caching adventure. First we went south and then we headed north. Sqweeter had a DNF in the area and I wanted to get these with a partner (homeless camps a plenty), so we headed this way. It was only 80 degrees but without any shade felt much hotter. I was a little worried as we approached GZ, the bushes / trees were cut off at the ground. Glad I went to investigate, the cache is safely tucked away in its hiding spot. Thanks for the smiley! After some shopping at Bass Pro Shops on my day off from work, I decided to tote along my bike for some riding and caching afterwards. I rode about twelve miles and grabbed a dozen or so caches. Not too many muggles this afternoon, but definitely some shady people around here. TFTC!
