Grabbed at 1:22 pm on 3/13/2016 during an epic trip that was more about skiing than caching. This is one of the ones we grabbed in the snow! I think I have a new favorite Colorado ski area! We passed on this one the first time by, and I regretted it - thinking I wouldn't have another chance. I almost didn't - because the ski area shut down the Panoramic Express lift due to high winds at 12,000 feet for part of our day. Luckily my signature was already on the log! I was more scared to cross the line because of the ski patrol than because of the cliff because the placement is in an okay place as long as there is visibility. Anyway, cache was in perfect condition with a dry log when I found it. Thanks for placing and maintaining this awesome hide!

I've always avoided this cache due to it being out of bounds. Today I decided to go for it. Cache was about 25 feet from rope so I took off my skis and made the dash. Able to find the cache quickly, sign the log, and make it back behind the rope before ski patrol came down. Cache is in great shape. Thank you for placing this.t

I had a great time hiking and caching the Mary Jane area today, finding 8 of the 10 caches I targeted. I left my home in Loveland on a nice morning in the upper 50s. But I got a rude surprise as I crossed Berthoud Pass, my dashboard showed it was 39°, and there was a dusting of fresh snow above timberline! I parked at the lot next to the Freeriders lift and it had warmed up all the way to 43! I threw on an extra long sleeve T and headed up the mountain. I had a route planned out that minimized elevation loss as best I could. My route was Manchego, Granita, Spumoni, Zabaglione, Knox, Mary Jane Cache, Ricciarelli, Camembert, Mary Jane Micro, and finally Provolone. The two I could not find were the first stage of Spumoni and Provolone. Each cache found was located fairly quickly and I signed the logs. Thanks for the lure to Mary Jane!!
Headed to Ricciarelli
