Adding a new county here, found at 22:00.

Beautiful night under the stars.

Kicking off the summer with a great American road trip to celebrate M4ISU’s belated birthday!  After months of planning, I am finally on the road with Stephenjha as my copilot.  I am logging as we go which makes it easier to keep track of the HUGE playlist we are hoping to accomplish.  If all goes well, I’ll drive 2500+ miles, add 50+ new counties, see 5 different states, find some cool cemeteries, increase my Fizzy and Jasmer progress, find 20+ virtuals, a handful of Earthcaches, a Wherigo, and maybe a webcam or 2!  It’s going to be a crazy weekend!

TFTC. SL. Thanks for placing this hide for my enjoyment, I really appreciate your effort! CACHE ON!!!

The last 8 days were a whirlwind for me. It was my best friend's son's wedding in CO and so I decided that I would drive alone since my normal partner in caching, geddygirl96, was unable to get off work. I decided that I wanted to try and fill in as many different counties as possible on this trip and at the end of it, I hit almost 70 new counties. I got to stay off the interstate for large portions of the 3000 mile round trip, which made every cache off the highway even better. I saw some amazing countryside along the way. On my path to CO, I went via Omaha and on the return trip, I tried to stick with highway 50 through MO and IL. I saw pheasant, turkey, deer, turtles, more turkeys, elk, a crazy mole, and a variety of birds in my travels this week. A large variety of flora as well. Thank you to all the COs whose caches I found and my heartfelt concern for all those who were in the path of tornadoes that I witnessed the destruction on my return home.

This looked like a really cool lake and area to explore, but since I needed a stamp to get in, I decided to not push my luck and just get the cache today. Thanks for bringing me out here and for the cache today. tftcsl tnln

On a road trip to do repair work on a goose blind and some geocaching. This cache is awesome - gets a favorite point! Did manage to bump both hands against the barbed wire and drew blood which is just part of geocaching. There is a very nice piece of swag in the cache which I left for another cacher. Thanks for the placement, Nygaard's!

On a Fall trip through Colorado doing some caching and seeing the sites. A beautiful scenic drive through Rocky Mountain National Park. Visiting the downtown areas of Boulder, Denver, Castle Rock and Colorado Springs to name a few. We enjoyed a beautiful hike on the Barr trail at the Summit of Pikes Peak. It was a wonderful trip with quite a bit of caching thrown in along the way. Thanks to all the CO's for all the caches along the way.

That is one bumpty-bumpy roads to GZ. But we prevailed and found the cache. Sylvia spotted it and so signed as "SLY + KC". Thanks for bringing us through Merino and revealing this fishing spot. We saw a crane of some sort flying overhead as we found this hide.

We were returning from the Iowa State Fair so we dropped a 2018 Iowa State Fair pin. Thanks!
