A small cache off the Santa Fe Trail.
This is part of a large series of caches that I will be placing along the Santa Fe Trail. Most of the caches will be easy to find. Please place all containers back how you found them. Be sure to watch for muggles and BYOP. Also take along some water and some replacement logs.

The terrain to this cache is a bit steep, please be careful. As this is the first of the series placed in 2012, I have worked to make it a little more interesting. Have fun!

A hugely overgrown area after all the recent rains, it was a trek to find this cache down at the bottom of this slope, but finding the cache (and seeing a beaver in the pond), made it a worthwhile effort. SL; left a fish eraser. TFTH

Today @WindAtMyBack and I headed south to grab a bunch of caches before this week's leaderboards resets. I have to try to pass @2lablovers . As we headed toward Colorado Springs the weather took a turn. It was 59 degrees when we left Aurora, with rain in the forecast. But dark clouds loomed in the sky. By the time we reached Larkspur it started sprinkling. Then a slushy rain turning into snow pellets. We pushed through and managed to find 20 caches today.
I was concerned that the snow drifts would stop me from making the find. But no! Clever mostly snow friendly placement. Tftc!

Quick find. Thought it might have been destroyed by recent path work. But it is all good. Thanks.

On my way for another geocaching day with some geocaching colleagues and wanted to get this one because it's some geocaching criteria for me. This is a good hide! I like the design!

The log is self-renewing. It also needs to be unrolled gently and reroll gently because it's been wet so many times and the ink is faded so be careful when you sign this one. Tftc!
