Sitting at the bus stop bench
Making odd faces to the rain

Watching for a bus that never comes
Distracted by the lack of lights and noise

Wood rot, cement damp, poor paint job

I helped design and build this bus shelter nearly 25 years ago.  It seemed like a good idea at the time.  

I don't think it has ever been used as a bus stop though.  I'm not sure where the bus stops anymore.

11:55:00 AM My main goal today was Trail Mix #25 at Reynolds Park. Went after that one, then picked up a few here and there on the way home. Thanks! Very nice bench, and great container.

A painless find on a warm August day. What a beautiful structure! I grew up in Evergreen and it would have been nice to have a hut like that waiting for the school bus. TFTC!
