Found by fishlogger & Charlie-n-Geri on a beautiful afternoon. Canoed across at the "Cache-Trash-Dash" cache and walked the 1/2 mile to this cache. Found another piece of the original log nearby and it and the other remnants of cache were placed in a new container. Good to go for a long time. Thanks for a real challenging cache !!!

Today was the day!! Planned and pondered this one for a few weeks, looking over GIS maps and scouting river to see if we could make it. Thought for sure others in group had found cache before us. Took all of us to find the remnants we did. SUCCESS the log was found!! Signed log and took a few pics while there.

Cool thing as we were getting ready to leave I spotted a coyote pup on the Hwy side of river. Watched it for a few hundred yards as it went downstream. Back to "boats" and in the river was some big splashing ahead of us. As we got closer, 100 yds, it was a beaver!

A rewarding run down stream to the takeout with a few rapids to run ( fast spots really, but hey it was the first time to hit them)

Thanks to all in group Desertvs - A1Tree - DTK

Ohh how many times we have pondered, planned, scoped, and ran! This cache marks my 600th find milestone, hell yeah, and a big woot woot too!

The river is so low we actually paddled upstream to the same beach others have used.

DTK saved our skins by finding the logbook clear down by the warming device. It has to be the same one in Polaskis pic. It has the red binding and the bump on the side. The sigs have vanished that were inside. We also found a expanding paper towel thingy near GZ. The cache container is gone but temporarily fixed for now. TFTC SL TFTC

I guess our group gets the honorable mention since the miller clan grabbed bronze.
