Great open space park in Clear Creek County. The total walking distance is about 3.5 miles round trip.
This is a book exchange cache. It started out with a variety of great reads. Both stages have books in the containers! Feel free to take a book - even if you don't have one to give. Please put the lids back on tight so the books stay dry.

Enjoy

Awesome find

Took my son and the geopup out on an afternoon hike. First time we've been to this area. We had fun looking through the books but we didn't bring anything to trade. Sl, thanks!

Shortened the multi to 2 stages. I added a book container to stage 1 and replaced the books in stage 2.

Great multi. Did in about an hour. Beautiful meadow, but boy, the Russian Thistles are getting out-of-hand! Stages 2 through 4 could use some TLC. #2 was so wet I could barely make out the coordinates (after peeling the wet paper apart). #3 container should be replaced soon - hard to open, rusted. #4 gets wet and most of the books are warped. Nonetheless, I love seeing a container of this size! Almost left a book in a Ziplock, but it didn't fit the theme, will be more appropriate for the "Bad Influence" book cache in 3 Sisters Park.

@3:07:00 PM #20464 Another geo-adventure, hiked across the park near the Beaver Brook Reservoir and walked down Beaver Brook Canyon Road before I realized that I couldn't get back to my car. Called friends to drive me to my car, which had a flat tire! TFTC

Had a great time finding the waypoints and the final. First waypoint was the toughest and the second needs to be replaced. The container is not watertight and the paper is soaked.

This one was fun-steep to the final though, but my horse got me there. Each waypoint was good with some mold speckles on the paper, might need to make them more legible soon. The books were very wet at some point, but they are dry now. Don't know how bad book mold might be. I didn't take any as I didn't have any to trade. I decided to ride here today to check out the trails & hopefully escape the heat and smoke that kept indicating disaster for another family (Black Forest Fire). This is a great park, thanks for bringing me here. A favorite point for hiding a cache where I can ride my horse to find it.

Found all the waypoints in fine shape, but sorry to have to report that the contents of the final have been destroyed by water and mold. Could use a little attention and perhaps an ammo can replacement to be sure the weather doesn't play havoc again. Thanks for such a nice multi, I really enjoyed it!

I was ready to give up on this one. It was raining, it was the next to last cache of the day. I was tired, my shoes and socks were soaked. I was squishing when I walked. It was going to be the last stage for me when I finally read, "Last Clue, Almost There". It gave me the motivation to finish it out. Glad I did. Container is in the top 3 largest containers I've found. A lot of hiking today finding 4 in Fillius Park, 2 in Bergen Park, 5 in Elk Meadow Park, and 7 in the Beaver Brook Watershed. Up in the Bergen Park area finding 24 total. Cloudy all day with a couple hours of rain while caching in the Beaver Brook Watershed. Thank you for placing this cache so we could enjoy a nice day in the mountains geocaching. sl LW77 and SC77 My CITO geocoin is doing a touch and go landing.

9:50 am. It took two visits to the watershed, one from each end, but I finally completed the stages. Nothing taken, nothing left. Thanks for the cache.
