Peace love pi and I headed out and about today to grab a few. We thought it was going to be cold, but it was a beautiful morning. I have this crazy flirtation with finding all the traditionals within a 10 mile radius. We started at a southern spot and started working our way north. Both of us were on it, and we wound up finding a lot of caches that had previous DNFs. We searched for a bit before peace love pi came up with the goods and we both had a good laugh over it. Thanks for the smiley!

Out enjoying this surprisingly warm day with lasouthpaw. Overlooked this one initially, but went back to the hint and voila. TFTC! All is well with this cache.

Cache log was soaked. Added new “write in rain” log and returned cache to it’s hiding place. I have heard of this winery but didn’t know where it was. Thanks!

While waiting for my boyfriend to get off work I looked up nearby caches. 250 feet from the office, perfect! Finished up just as I see his truck getting ready to turn into the yard. He smiled and shook his head. Lol, still gets amazed I can find a cache anywhere! Tftc!

Stopped in for a few hours today to sample Colorado wines.

Wasn’t able to find cache. Didn’t spot any goats today.

To the barrel tasting across the street with my XYL. Great dinner, and the 17 Zinfandel is excellent, even this early. Won a free bottle (pick up after it's bottled; it's still in the barrel at this time). We looked long for the cache, and didn't find it. Did have a friendly goat and it's larger meadow mates come watch. They offered no useful advice, wouldn't even point a hoof in the general direction of the cache to help. This is a dnf, but thanks for the hunt once again.

I checked on this cache yesterday and was shocked to see the old stump that was there had been totally ripped apart. The clue "don't get stumped" was intended to help you realize the cache was not in the stump. Those who worked of the theme of the cache had better success. The cache is still in its hiding spot waiting to be discovered. I'm upping the difficulty level to 3.5. Happy caching

A year later and still no luck with this one...and I even brought 2 muggles to help poke around for the cache. We went across the street and have a great lunch and free wine tasting. Fabulous! I'll try again next year when I return to this area.
