Flume Canyon trail - connects to Devils Canyon trail system
Discovered this trail on a drizzly day hike... over the top on D1 then up and over the ridge to this new area- beautifully carved gorge and sandstone cubbies along F1 trail. You may want to park at both ends of this one or enter/exit from the Pollock Bench area to avoid a lengthy hike along the road.

Please be considerate of this wilderness area and the permission granted to place a cache here. The cache is in the canyon wall, not far from the trail. Stay on the trail until the location is evident, avoid trampling the cryptobiotic crust and leave the area as you find it. Thank you.

Reception was a bit sketchy near the wall-

 Hints

Camo'd vitamin bottle in a small eroded "cubby" in the canyon wall- a bit of a scramble on the nearby boulders.

What a beautiful hike! Took plenty of water and headed out in 90 degree weather. Thanks for taking us down F1. We've never gone this way before. We'll be back!! Took a lizard, left Chinese $ and an army man.

Lots of fun! We love this canyon and hike here often with our dogs. Cache is in great shape with fun stuff inside.
