You Never Forget Your First Doctor!

A cache dedicated to the longest running Sci Fi series in history (50+ years).

You've never heard of Doctor Who? Look at the info below this cache info.

This is a stash cache which means lots of goodies left by others and stocked by us for trading and passing on to other caches. Also feel free to grab a sticker and wear it with pride once you find this little treasure decorated with Whovian paraphanelia. Please visit the Doctor and pass on the joy.

To quote Steven Moffet, one of the most influential directors in Doctor Who history.

"When they made this particular hero, they didn’t give him a gun, they gave him a screwdriver to fix things. They didn’t give him a tank or a warship or an x-wing fighter, they gave him a call box from which you can call for help. And the didn’t give him a superpower or pointy ears or a heat ray, they gave him an extra heart. They gave him two hearts. And that’s an extraordinary thing; there will never come a time when we don’t need a hero like the Doctor.”

Or if you prefer Wikipedia:

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC since 1963. The programme depicts the adventures of a Time Lord called "the Doctor", an extraterrestrial being, to all appearances human. The Doctor explores the universe in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. Its exterior appears as a blue British police box, which was a common sight in Britain in 1963 when the series first aired. Accompanied by a number of companions, the Doctor combats a variety of foes while working to save civilisations and help people in need.

Die hard Tom Baker fan here .. not just for his Dr. character, either. He's got quite the acting CV.

As to the cache, no trouble spotting this one, and is in good shape.

Coordinates changed to:
N 39° 58.761 W 105° 6.063

Distance from original: 24.0 feet or 7.3 meters.

When I went to double check the coordinates I found them to be off by about 20 feet. I took several other measurements and am putting in what they said.
