In dry conditions this cache can be driven to by any 4x4 vehicle - although the higher the ground clearance the better as there are some rocky spots and a few tight turns off the main trail.  The cache is in clear view and is NOT located on the abandoned mine company building nearby.

This cache is located below the Sunrise Gold mine approximately half way between Sugarloaf and Bald Mountains (6 miles southwest of Gold Hill).  You're looking for a 35MM film canister that is in plain site.  There is an interesting stone structure several feet away from GZ that you'll want to check out.  If you have some insight into what the main purpose of this building was back in the day it would be interesting for you to include it in your log.

Congratulations to waawhoo on another first to find!

The 'mystery building' is pretty cool. What's with the steel bars over the windows? Did they keep anything valuable inside? Unfortuantely I don't have any more information on it. The cache is still in tip top shape after its first winter. After replacing the cache I followed the road a little further, but it ended soon. I continued to the edge of the hill and got a nice view of Four Mile Canyon and a couple of the taller mountains to the west.
