This is the original location of the Pierson/Hughes Stagecoach Station. This stagecoach stop was the last important stagecoach stop north of Denver during the 1800's. It was active until the arrival of the railroad in this area in 1870. The original barn used to house the stagecoach horses, burned to the ground in 1983.The original house was moved to the Adams County Museum in the fall of 2000, and has been completly restored.

Caching today mcklo. Our Mom turned 55 today, so we are out to get 55 caches! It was fun to begin to travel along Brighton Rd. I have lived in Brighton my whole life, but have never really had the occasion to use this road.

Not sure where this cache was supposed to be. But it had blown or somehow gotten on the other side of the fence. Small hands retrieved it from "The Far Side." We rehung it, hopefully close to where it was originally stashed. Like the stagecoach area. Thanks for the cache.

Eagle eye ladybug looking found cache out of place. We put it back where we thought was best. Had to see historic stagecoach site. Tft hide
