Fourth in the Series, Growing up 50's- 60's in this valley of the Bear Creek, now known as Bear Valley,

Back in the 50's-60's this area was old unused fields from an farm long gone, fields that went all the way east to Sheridan. Bear Creek was a small crooked creek meandering year round. Today they might call that might be called a "Lazy River" as we would take our dad's black auto inner tubes and walk a mile up stream from my home on Wolff street and float down the creek all afternoon. An inner tube, a pair of cutoffs, a pair of gym shoes,a warm summer day, a couple of friends and home by dinner time was a great day for young kid, We were not yet teenagers, 5-6th grade kids out on our own. A sandwich wrapped in wax paper and we were good. Do not remember drinking the creek water, but we probably did.

The cache is along the Bear Creek Trail with the new Bear Valley Park Pickleball Courts. Back in the 50's I explored and played in the waters of Bear Creek, today I play Pickleball on the new PB courts. Today, to enjoy this area, I need a car, a PB paddle, a pack with stuff, water container, proper attire, PB rated shoes and probably have less fun with more stuff.

FTF coin in the cache container, be aware of muggles, park on the street, or ride by on the bike and maybe I will see you on the court.

Could not find it… :-(

We had looked for this cache twice without success. Came back today with reinforcements (our daughter, @Salazar17, visiting from Mexico). She ultimately found it, but we'll take a find anyway since we were looking together. Amazing how difficult this was to spot, even though we were looking carefully in the right spot the previous times, TFTC!

Took us a little while, but we found it! It was very well camouflaged and inconspicuous. With @wepritchetts

A lengthy and extensive search, but too clever for me today. I didn’t find the cache, but a good sized snake found me. More startling than scary. Just be alert. K7

Walked the nearby trail to GZ.
Made the find within seconds.
Clever hide, so I must have been lucky.
Signed log and replaced as found.

Very cleverly hidden. I was about ready to throw in the towel when I made that one last look and there it was. TFTC. On to the next.

Didn't have any luck with this one. Guess the hide is a little too clever for us (today at least). We'll try again another time.

Clever hide! Nice use of the environment. Signed log. Thanks for the cache! (PB courts were full with some raucous games going on).

As stated by previous finder GZ is a bit off. Stand at GZ put your back to the pickle ball courts, the most obvious pace to hide a cache is in front of you. That's the place, the cache is just hard to find. With some help from PAF I was able to make the find. A very good hide. The CO could fix the coordinates and make the cache a little more straightforward. SL History of location in the old days is very interesting.
