I worked my way up to the east saddle, that was not the plan , but it worked out.

I had a great day in Elk Park with estes01. We probably should have attacked this one differently now that we know where it is. But it's that always the way it works? You find the best route to the cache after you have already taken the difficult route. TFTC

Wish I had read Vort's log about the final pitch on this one being easier from the east. All I know is that when I found out it was a Climbstuff 4.5 terrain, I just figured we were in for it. Spectacular "outcropping." Thanks for a fun day in this area. We will be back to do the other 3 before the end of the summer.

Came over from Gumdrop Cache ( west and slightly north of here). It was a beautiful day, with spectacular scenery and a great cache location with spot on coords! IN - Beijing Olympic pin OUT - nothing TFTH!!
