Flew to Denver for a geo-roadtrip to explore a part of the country I haven't been to before. Primary goal is to grab oldies like Tarryall and Mingo to finally complete my Jasmer calendar. Padding my county count, and a couple new states, on this trip, too. Having fun on day 5. TFTC!

Spent a great day caching in the Lakewood area with #1 Beefers and GanderGoose. #1 Beefers put together a great plan with a variety of cache types. Almost got run over by a garbage collector here … yikes. TFTC

This was 5826, Atomic Corgi, and I's first time at Casa Bonita. What a cool place, very Colorado haha.

This was the destination for the day and I wanted to forever immortalize the memory by finding a nearby cache. The parking lot and area were very crowded today and it seemed like everyone and their mother was waiting in line for the iconic restaurant. Once inside, we were greeted by what can only be explained as unique to the core. A huge area inside of a little strip mall, dedicated to Hispanic cuisine with people who dive into water. The area that we sat in had a magician who told jokes, it felt very 80s. Afterwards, we walked around and explored the small cave, gift shop, and arcade. Wish I could have came here as a kid, we had a fun time though taking Western pictures.

The drive over to the cache was short but careful. There actually was an accident while we were pulling into the parking lot for Casa Bonita earlier in the day. This happened on the adjacent street and was even more weird after we heard a loud noise while searching for this cache. Turns out there was another accident, this time involving a motorcycle, seems like this street is pretty dangerous for drivers.

The cache was a relatively quick find. Nothing like searching around a little bit of electrical equipment. Really no other way I'd want to spend my Saturday, what a great day.

No luck here. Wasn’t intending to go caching, we just ended up here so only had phone GPS which had us walking in circles around the building. Thinking it may be inside we went in and ended up talking to an employee who knows where it is/was. She went and looked for it but said it is no longer where it used to be.

Made another run at this one and found it today! Have eaten at this place for lunch, and it's always been very tasty - I highly recommend! Log is pretty full, but squeezed in a P & S in green ink on the side. Thanks for the hide!
