Took a quick trip to Denver to get the youngest on a flight for school trip. On the way home I had extra time and decided to pick up the second half of the Colorado Star as the weather was cool enough for the long hike. Started where I had left off and continued around the Star. Found the cache and signed the log and stamped. TFTC.

We planned a trip up to do these yesterday when the forecast was for cooler tempertures. On the way up we ran into dark cloud that started raining hard. Pulled over under a tree in Nunn and watched it come down. We got hailed on. We went back home because the weather looked the it was going to do this all day long.

We came up today it's a lot nice but a lot hotter. We had a good time. Some of us more than the other. I really thought i would be hauled out on a gurney. Thanks for placing this cool Star for us to find all the pieces. Only got half the star down but theres always tomorrow or shall we say in the Fall.

I wanted to visit this geo art for a while now. Today was a good opportunity to go for it. Trying to earn all the points needed for the planetary pursuit promotion. My apology ahead of time for the cut and paste logs. Started out my quest today with overcast skies and just above freezing. Will be racing a potential storm to get all of the Star I can today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

The star was the main goal for today. It was chilly and windy but billkat and I had a great time making our way around the area. We replaced this container. TFTC
