1 1/2- 2 mile walk round trip depending on parking lot choice. mostly on paved path. Some flat gravel terrain
This is the premier cache for the 8Ball Jeepers. Nice walk, if in evening, take bug spray,(and fishing poles if you like). The Cache is slightly smaller than traditional, about the size of a good Stephen King novel. We left a log book, pen and pencil (I will add a sharpener the next time I am out there). For goodies, there are various stickers, tupperware key chain and magnet, a small teddy bear, a rubberball, a Northglenn Ambulance Patch, Jack Daniels playing cards, and the PGA coin we acquired from our first Solo find. Follow the river and the road less traveled, past where the tree falls in the path, you're almost there.

Parked by the golf course and made the hike over, about 1/2 mile each way. Nice hike except I tripped over a guy wire tiedown (looking at one and missed the other) and tore my shoe open. Looked extensively at GZ and an extended area around GZ. With the other DNFs, pretty sure that the flooding has taken this one away. Put a new container (now a small) about 2' above the ground and wedged so hopeful it will survive the high water. TFTC!

Did not locate, but evidence of recent flooding so may have washed away or buried by flood debris.

I'm out and about on this cold February day to find some regular size caches. This one was on the list. Reading some past logs, I expected the coords to be way off and the cache to be out in the open. LOL neither was the case. After searching the area once I headed north to see if expanding the search zone helped. (It didn't.) Then I went fanning out in each direction. I was about to give up and come back with reinforcements when I decided to give it another go. As I was looking out of the corner of my eye I saw what I thought would be trash but turned out to be the cache. Yes! It is a little north of where my phone zeroed out, but I'd say it's within a normal margin of error. Thanks for the hunt - find #2117.

Exploring some new territory in Adams County with Robespierre50. Vintage cache from '02. Not quite on GZ. Looks like it might be subject to water movement. SL

Cache outing with geoguru1 exploring some new territory and a nice mix of older and newer caches. Really nice park area here. Found a bit N of GZ, not really under anything left it where we found it. Should be just fine. Great vintage cache. TFTC SL.

TFTCSL came out to Denver after spring break and took the opportunity to get this cache. Finally a CO casher name with an 8. I took an easy stroll along the river, saw some geese and ducks. All is well.
