Eight Mile Creek, near cache site

Located off scenic Phantom Canyon Road, approx. 12 miles north of HWY 50. Nice hike to 8 mile creek through open meadow and forest.
This is our first cache, we hope you enjoy it! The container is a clear Rubbermaid with a white lid. We placed it while camping at nearby McCourt. We love this peaceful area. There is a lot of wildlife, and the creek, (when flowing) is a refreshing relief from the hot sun.

While spending our last day ( ) of our this year's summer vacation in the USA we drove the beautiful "Phantom Canyon Road" and were also searching some geocaches - and this one was one of them !
We had to search some minutes but finally we found it!
