This cache is an easy drive off of north highway 13.
Elevation is 6683 feet above sea level.

Small black container with a log and writing instruments.

This cache is in memory of my father Chuck Mack. His CB handle and nick-name at Seneca Mine was "Short Shot". Dad was a very "short" man and at one point in his career he was a "shot" fire or explosives tech. He and Mom owned 80 acres of land on Bakers Peak which are the jagged set of peaks to your northeast. The land has passed on to Mom and the family since his death on Feburary 2nd. 2009.
Bakers Peak is named after one of the first Mountain Men in the area and one of the first settlers and traders along the Little Snake River, Jim Baker. Baker and his wife, along with other family members, are buried
in the Baker Family Cemetery a mile outside of Savery, WY. His trading post/fort and their home are located there too. It is now a museum.
Have fun!!

Very messy path to get there. Perhaps you should build a little Bridge LOL . Nice tribute. Thank you very much Short Shot for this awesome cache.
Keep Calm and Cache On.
