On our journey on the Alpine Loop we were on the lookout for a tree troll and unfortunately never found the "specified" tree in which my daughter claims they live. So lead to our discussion of bridges with trolls who live under them to keep people from passing over them. It reminded me of the story "Three Billy Goats Gruff" which in turn inspired a Geo cache under a bridge near a favorite camping spot for us. From lake city travel the Alpine Loop towards Cinnamon Pass, cache is located near Mill Creek Campground. We visit Colorado regularly (at least 2x a year) to check on cache's well being! Beautiful scenery all around. Please place cache back the way you found it!! Cache is stuffed with lots of goodies for kids like toy car, snakes, and magnifying glass and for adults it has goodies like a mini journal, compass, and a travel tag! Congrats to olesmokey for FTF!!!

Was out with lbmiller last year. Just now catching up on my old logs, I'm lazy. Was going to try to climb a nearby 14er, until one of us hand ankle problems. Maybe next year. Hopefully next time, we will see some moose.

Thanks for the cache! Goat and I had a lovely hike in fresh falling snow with golden aspens...I love fall and the cache was a perfect finale!
