This was one of the stops we made on the epic 7000 km adventure with UBOff & Safari Cachers.

We started from Calgary and went to Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, back to Utah, Nevada, back to Idaho, Washington, back to Idaho, British Columbia and then home. I may have it a little out of order - you know how geocaching goes.....

I couldn't have asked for two better brothers to travel and geocache with. We had three specific target caches in mind in order to complete everyone's Jasmer. Lucky for us it was mission accomplished.

We had many laughs along the way! I also got to go to places I had never seen before - one of the great things about geocaching! We saw so many beautiful places that I would love to go back to! And I look forward to the next adventure to explore many more places....

Thanks to all the COs for the caches and thanks to 'the brothers' for letting me tag along for the fun!

DogPound Odyssey2019.

Goal:
1). Work on Jasmer Challenge
2). Grab other fun caches
3). Have as much fun as possible
4). Come home talking to each other
5). Visit an odd national park or two....

Mission accomplished!!

Thanks pickledherrings and UBOFF for great time and many kilometres of laughter
Thanks to all the cache owners for keeping the game going....

Day 5 of an epic 6 day journey out to the western frontier. I had some vacation time that I needed to burn up by the end of the year, and what better way to use it than to go Geocaching! My main goal was to find caches in New Mexico and Nevada, which would complete my map in the western US. The rest of the 4 remaining states are on the East Coast. Secondary goals were to find oldies, mostly virtuals, and high favorited caches. The only bad part of the trip was that it rained every single day of my vacation.

I headed south out of MN on Sunday and returned home on Friday.
Sunday - Drive all the way through to Colorado (15 hours!)
Monday - Cache in and around Denver and Colorado Springs, with an attempt at Pike's Peak (closed at Mile 14)
Tuesday - Head south towards GC19 and then west through Wolf Creek Pass
Wednesday - Four Corners monument and west towards Nevada
Thursday - After a night in Richfield, UT, head east through the skiing areas of Colorado towards Nebraska
Friday - The long drive home

Thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for me to find and for keeping the oldies going all these years.

Hiked up Quandary Peak today then didnt want to do any "dirty caching" after I cleaned up, so a roadtrip down I-70 it was.

Heading from Kansas City to California to see the granddaughters. Had to drive so we could pick up a few more counties. Left Burlington, CO, this morning and ended in Salina, UT. Got to see western Colorado for the first time. Went from temps in the low 60s to the mid 90s during the course of the day. Grabbed quite a few virtual and traditional caches. Great day and great caching.

It was great seeing the clear mountain stream and the river. Interesting reading the panels by the parking lot on the interstate highway construction.

Thanks for the smiley.

Living on the western slope, we travel thru Glenwood Canyon many times each year. I still remember the years of construction of the 4 lane hi-way through the canyon. Finally took a little more time at Grizzly Creek to log this cache. Thanks! Email with answer has been sent.

Day 21 of our 24 day geocaching adventure from San Diego to Colorado Springs. Ms. PQCaching finished her conference with a half day session before we headed for Grand Junction.
Nice drive with stops along the way for some high Favs, great views and other misc. caches to fill challenge requirements.

Great scenery coming down through the canyon. This was a nice place stretch the legs, use the restroom and gather the needed information.
