We want to place a series of caches containing a small birthday gift for each of the cachers we know that spends their summer helping with our kids club. This one is for appleiphone6 who is helping out for the second summer, but who we also do a lot of power cache runs with, our most recent being 122 finds in SE Denver!! There is no shortage of laughs when we he's caching with us.

In geocachekids style we would never just place a traditional cache for our friends. This puzzle is called "Cryptic Code" and it actually comes from the Code Breaker Puzzles book I won in the raffle at the Mad Cache Dash 2012 race that appleiphone6 helped host (that was a great event). Solve this "kids" puzzle to find the final. Assume N39 and W104. There is a bobcats path tag for FTF and the cache is loaded with swag to trade.

Couldn’t figure out the key but I guessed at numbers and eventually found ones that fit. Cool hiding spot. Signed the log and left some currency and notes.

I got this one with no trouble at all -- after coming over from nearby where my gpsr was not cooperating at all on a Tom.Dog hunt.... My wife & I missed the big snowfall (before our current trip), and fortunately it was melted off enough to not make this hunt very tough.

I was hoping a puzzle cache would be my entry into the comma club but since I solved it and was close to a parking lot near by grandparent’s rental, I settled to just find caches without an ultimate objective. The adventuring party went to the solved GZ and after a bit of searching, I realized I had the wrong coordinates. I changed them, geochecked, and we found it. Thanks for the hide. Love caching in Colorado. So much nicer on 90+ degree days than home in Illinois. KCCO!
