The wife and I were excited to get out and visit this new open space and snag some of the newer geocaches in the area. We got a later start than we wanted but the clouds moved in and we hiked in rainshowers for the final few miles of the hike. All in all, a great 9 mile hike!

As I do, I overthought the daylights out of this one. Finally, the CO was kind enough to smack me in the forehead over my incorrect assumptions. I guess I was never really that good at punctuation! We made quick work of this find. It's in great shape. TFTC!

Wasn't sure what we were in for when we arrived - particularly after seeing the crowded parking lots. I'm guessing this would clear off during the weekdays and then it would be an amazing place to run and bike. Walking takes quite a bit longer if you want to do the entire loop. Thanks for introducing us to this new open space.

Out on this new trail today with estes01. The parking lot was full to overflowing at 10am, but we got lucky and grabbed a spot someone had just pulled out of. Nice long trail, just what we were looking for. But so many private property signs makes it difficult to take any shortcuts. Made the find in a few minutes and we were off to the next. TFTC!

No problem solving the puzzle but had a little trouble finding the cache. Maybe I was getting tired after all those miles on this nice trail. Finally got it right where the coordinates showed me it should be!
Thanks for the fun!

[FTF] 07/01/2020 at 3:08 pm. I saw a group of puzzles publish and took a quick look at them. This one I can solve! So I put it on my list, hoping for an FTF the following day. Up early, and I saw that this one was still unfound. We hopped in the Jeep and headed south. After about an hour and a half we were in the area. It took a bit for me to figure out where to begin our journey. Then we set foot to trail and headed toward the GZ. Beautiful day, and the temps up here (compared to Denver's 86 degrees) were comfortable. We arrived at the suspected spot and it took a while for me to locate the well hidden container.
Great day and great cache worthy of a favorite point!
