You're looking for a nano near the old Midland Railway station!

This nano is placed near the current Cripple Creek and Victor Railroad, which uses tracks that were once part of the narrow gauge track system that served the mines in the district before heading back to Divide, and the smelters in Colorado Springs. As you travel up or down highway 67, you can still see the old railway grade and old tunnels along the route. You should be able to get within a few feet with your GPS but then your geosenses will have to take over to find this tricky train cache! Please do not attempt to enter any of the old train cars or other historic structures and obey all posted no trespassing signs.

It is NOT at the train station!

Located they had just fine and looked at both ends of the train car which both had the hint, but could not find the cache. Also the coordinates seem to be off quite a bit.

Our day to Cripple Creek for some gold mine tour and caching. We may stop off and drop some coins in a slot machine too. We so get to check out all the beautiful fall colors in the amazing Rocky Mountains.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

I stopped at this one after going to Bishops Castle. My mom flew in from Florida and we are out and about taking in sites around the state. The best part was hearing her say we had not done a Geocache yet and that we should stop and do one. Well, of course! We had had a great trip and loved taking in the sites! Thanks for having this cache out here for us to find. We found the log and signed it and put it back where we found it. This one really needs a little updating. If I had brought a new container I would have replaced it. Maybe next trip up here I will replace it at that time.

- There was a prison break and I saw a midget climb up the fence. As he jumped down her sneered at me and I thought, well that’s a little condescending.

Second time looking for this one. I noticed all the DNF for the past couple of months but we went anyways.

We found the log and the plastic bag on the ground, in the grass. It looks like it has been done there awhile. We could not find the actual cache though.

It needs to be re-established.

DNF. Looked as much as possible, pretty good effort. However, wasps were coming and going from various holes near the hint location. So, we were wary.
