This cache is not on the higher end of 4x4 caches that we normally set. This is more Focus friendly but may have a few hazards that need some navigation skills depending on the track selected. The NFS road is not well known but will take a bit of research to find the correct path. The cache is located only feet within the NFS boundary and has private private property located to the north. The 30mm Ammo can is well swagged and has Denver 5280 tracking tag. The cache is surrounded by lush mtn grass and Aspens for the most part...and ants. If you have a Focus, go for it.Photobucket

The aspen are just starting to leaf-out, and this cache gives a great view of them. The road down in the low spot was pretty boggy this morning and I was alone, so I left my Jeep on the other side of the bog to travel the last 1/8 mile by foot. Thanks for giving me a reason to visit this beautiful place!

I'm a little behind on logging this cache...found it while out jeeping with Team Red Rubicon back in April.

Found with TRR on a fun jeep adventure AKA winch fest on Rock Creek, so we came over to a "dry" trail. Much better!

Yep. Focus-friendly-ish is about right. I drove my Focus to within 250 feet of this cache. It was a bit interesting in spots, but overall was well within what it is capable of doing. Master Timmy was with, as a witness to anyone that would be in disbelief. There were a few interesting spots going out to the main road, but momentum proved helpful.

First to log in 2013. I had a few TBs with me, but decided against leaving any as it may be a year before someone is brave enough to try this one.

Thanks for placing this one!
