Our 1st Geocache!

Visiting from Texas and and wanted to get out and do some geocaching today in Pagosa Springs. It's a beautiful fall day – love the weather.
A new adventure today going up into the mountains for some photos and geocaching.
Found it without too much problem. The cache is in good condition and ready for some more people to find it. Is definitely a destination cache because nothing else is near. TFTC!

Got our first AWD vehicle (a Subaru Outback) and wanted to test it out on any back road we could find, if it dead ended at a closed campground, even better. In this rat race world it is so rare that you get a chance to know you are the only people within a few miles of your spot... this was one of those precious times. Cleaned up cache and added some swag & trinkets, hope it gets more visitors this fall. Thanks Engineer09 for bringing us to this isolated, lovely place.

Closed Campground

What a Picnic Table!

Found on the last day of our vacation at 9am. Left a small pig, took a smiley pin and a River City Roundup pin for the twin 10-year-old boys caching with us. Great find on a beautiful morning.
