Come take a stroll up to one of our favorite spots along the Cub Creek Trail. It's about a 3-mile hike out and back, with the first half of the trail being steep and rock filled, the second half leveling off and becoming more gentle underfoot. You'll need to hike/bike or horseback approximately one mile up the main trail and then connect to a social trail (see waypoint) and proceed for about another half mile to down to the pond. Boone Dog loves swimming here after a hot hike over and it's a great spot to take a break, with giant aspen stands and a picnic table nearby. Make sure to mark your parked car and use the waypoint and other caches as breadcrumbs back down. Adequate foot ware, layered clothing, snacks and water are always recommended. Pro Tip: Not much cell up here, best to download coordinates offline. You are searching for a large oversized log only Bison Tube, please re-hide it as well or better than you found it. Enjoy this peaceful, serene, special spot and don't forget to bring an ink stick. Happy Hunting!
