This is our first cache started and is located on the Rio Grande River in between Southfork and Creede, Colorado. The cache is a short walk from the parking area, away from any curious fishermen.
My parents are from the area and own a cabin (True Grit) nearby. We thought this would be a great area to hide a cache. The cache is an ammo can stuffed with treasures of all kinds. We find it fun to know where fellow cachers are from. As you sign the log, please let us know if you are from the areas or just passin' through.

In the year of 2019 four friends ventured into the woods. They walked past the cache many times, lost signal just as many. They braved a rain and hail storm too. Finally, they had success! Great cache, even greater experience.
