Found on the way back from an attempt to approach Raleigh Peak. The day was cool, sunny, and slightly windy and when we made it close to Raleigh Peak we decided it was not wise to climb the peak today. Finding an ammo can this far out is a treat. Thanks for the hide!

Teamed up with "animjason" and another good friend, for a nice hike on segment two of the Colorado trail - this was the eighth of eleven geocaches that we found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Left the house at 6:00 this morning, to meet Garlic at the Colorado Trail and road crossing at 126. I then hiked back towards Waterton Canyon. Quite hot out today, and lots of through hikers and through bikers out there! It was quite hot out there, I ran out of water about a mile from my car. Then when I got to the car it poured down rain, and the temperature plummeted. Glad I turned around when I did - it was perfect timing. Thanks! Love the scenery on this segment. Now it's time for a bath and a nap! I thought it was going to be only about 10 miles today, but it ended up being more than 15. This one was pretty close to the Colorado Trail, so I meandered over to it. It's a very nice spot!

Goat wanted to hike segment 2...I was more than happy to tag along behind and visit some geocaches 'nearby'. Thanks for the fun hide - took a bit of a detour but the views made it more than worth it and I really enjoyed the NASA shuttle stickers :)!
