As I was heading to Loveland for my son's cross country meet I decided to give this multi a try, not knowing if it wad going to require a hike for the final. Entered the adjustment and realized it was really close. Off to the final and had to expand my look in a different plane to make the find. Thanks for the cache

Used the Garmin to make quick projections and proceeded to the final. TFTC

We tend to simplify these. For Garmin users, it's pretty straightforward to do this kind of projection. No datum change required.
#1) Mark waypoint
#2) Using waypoint manager, project a new waypoint from "#1" at 0 degrees and specified distance.
#3) Using waypoint manager, project a new waypoint from "#2" at 270 degrees and specified distance.
Drive to #3. Find cache. Well, almost. After double checking, we think the projections put us a bit inside the building, but outside, we had no trouble spotting the cache.

Tributes to loved family dogs invariably bring recall to me of each of our special dogs and loving canine companions that have passed. There have been many over my lifetime, and the death of each has shaken Denali50 and me. Memories of them never cease. It will certainly be that way for Dozer as well, as his family considers all that he brought to them over the years. In that sense, he will remain with them, always.
I didn't know what to anticipate with this Tahosa multi-cache, except that it would be something special. It was... I quickly found the initial stage, recorded the information, made my calculations, and set out to find the final. Not surprisingly, the coordinates took me to near a place I've spent several very enjoyable afternoons with Joe and Corey over the past couple of years. And the actual cache container, a really neat one, also matched an anticipation because it continues a container theme that has emerged as a Tahosa specialty.
I had hoped to get after this nice multi soon after it was published, but a health issue has kept me at home for most of the past month. It's fun to now be getting out again. Thanks for this special impetus to do so, Joe!

I was getting ready to head up to the trailhead for Grays and Torreys Peaks this morning to scout out camping spots for a trip there this weekend. When I saw this cache notification I decided to delay my departure for a bit, hoping to score a first-to-find. I drove to the posted coordinates and quickly found the first stage. I recorded the info and went back to my truck to work out the second stage coordinates. Once I had that done, I headed there. When I arrived at GZ, thankfully the area was deserted. I searched around GZ for a good 20 minutes without success. I would have searched longer but I really needed to hit the road on my planned trip.
This afternoon, after returning from the trailhead, it was bugging me that I had dipped on this cache this morning so I went back for another try. This time there was typical traffic around so I didn't have the solitude. I ended up expanding my search to the south and that did the trick. I found the cache and discovered a blank log. I was very pleased to sign it in the {FTF} position, my first FTF of a Tahosa and Sons cache! I'm guessing a number of folks will find this to be more difficult than a 2D.
We have lost two of our puppy family members in the last 3 years and we miss them greatly. I'm sure Dozer's family misses him very much. Thanks Tahosa and Sons for placing this fine tribute to Dozer!!!
