This cache was hidden as part of the One Degree of Separation Geocaching Project.
This is a seed that came from Greasepot's One Degree of Seperation:Twin B (GCWAX1).
When I started reading about the project I knew I wanted to be part of it. One of the suggested missions was to have a seed in every county in Texas. So why not every county in Colorado? No need to go on private property.

Normally I don’t like power trails but I signed a challenge earlier this year that is going to require a big final push towards the end of the year. So here I am chipping away at that challenge and finding your cache(s) along my route. Signed log “PMC” to save space on the log.

A huge thank you for keeping this older cache alive all these years for new(er) geocachers, like myself to find it so many years later. All is well here with the cache.

Found GCXDCQ - "Be Prepared" ODS (Twin B) Seed, on October 13, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, Slimmers for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

A favorite for the scouts. We are from California and visiting family in Black Forest. We finished Lincoln Mountain Open Space. Now we are going to a few areas which we have not completed the caches. SL
