Black Bear Cub

A Black Bear Cub in our neighborhood is apparently partial to strawberry ice cream. Unfortunately, when bears eat garbage, they can’t discriminate between what may or many not be harmful to them. The ice cream was harmless, but this was a signal that I need a stronger trashcan!

The cache is a decon container hidden about 4 feet up.

Checked every tree on the road side of the creek (very steep area, I slipped and dropped my GPS once), but now that I can read more logs (no phone signal up there & limited number of past logs load onto GPS) I see the coordinates are off and the cache is actually across the creek. I wondered if it was but I had already waded across that creek twice & had put on dry shoes & socks so I didn't want to get cold, wet feet again. It is probably still there...
