To celebrate my 14th annivesary of caching, I selected this location for another great view from a cache!  On a clear day you can see Pikes Peak to the south, Mt Blue Sky to the west and a nice view of the Bear Creek Valley in front of you.

Lakewood's Peak View Park, 2350 South Wadsworth Boulevard, is a wonderful place to recreate and take in beautiful views! The new park opened on Friday, July 7, and visitors are welcome to enjoy the 60-acres of open space including a new trailhead, hard and natural surface trails.

Path and Trail Lengths: PLEASE PRACTICE LEAVE NO TRACE AND STAY ON THE TRAILS.

Paved Path Loop: 0.78 miles

Natural Surface Trail 0.61 miles

Gravel Path: 0.17 miles

Outer Loop 1.42 miles

The trailhead and parking lot are located at South Wadsworth Boulevard and Morrison Road. Note that park access is not available from southbound South Wadsworth Boulevard, access the trailhead from northbound South Wadsworth Boulevard or eastbound Morrison Road.

The possibilities are limited and with a terrain of 1.0 it reduces them even more. Spent about 25 minutes looking, touching, etc.
I’ll be back, though! I love Lakewood’s newest park!
