I recently spent a pleasant morning at the local coffee shop with my daughter. We passed the time deciding where to go and what to do today. After two cups of coffee each, we headed out to sit under our favorite tree and play tic-tac-toe.

Before we departed, we left a cache in the tree. To find the cache you must solve the puzzle below.

Note: As documentent below (thanks Spivey), my GPS was acting up when I placed this one. Try looking about 40-45 feet south to find the cache.

Thanks for the fun puzzle! This puzzle took a long time to finally get right. I even stopped by once to search for it and couldn't make the find. Finally after a bit I found myself back in the area and decided to give it another go. Walked straight to it! What are the odds and how on earth did I miss it the first time!? Stamped log and replaced everything as found. All is well!

Whew, this one took awhile for me to find. Even after doing a TAF for a hint prior to going, I still had to PAF on site. It’s not hard, I’m just blind!! Thanks for placing this cache for me to find. TFTC.

Wow, this cache hasn't been found since March 2016, two plus years this lonely cache has been waiting for someone to find it. It is still there! Too pretty to stay inside today so I decided to find some solved puzzles. Thanks for placing this cache for me to find today. No problems here.

This one has been in my solved puzzle list for years, finally had a chance to make the find. Fun puzzle, although it probably took me longer than it should have! I too found the container about 30' south of listed coords. Quick find one we were in the right spot. TFTC!!!

I think the first time I looked at this puzzle and began trying to solve it was fairly soon after it was published -- nearly seven years ago! Over the years, I picked it up again and again trying to figure out the correct approach until -- at last -- about a month or so ago, it all came together and in short order, I had the coordinates. I think the 2.5-star rating is correct; I was probably just over- or under-thinking it. Anyway, I was in the Springs for a short time today dropping my son off after his spring break from college, and thought it was the perfect time to cross this one off my list. it's a really nice puzzle and the container and log are in great shape. Thank you!
