I hid this cache on my way to Almost to Johnny Park (GC14YG6). The route calls for a high clearance vehicle and 4WD may be useful in some spots. Cache is a sandwich sized, camoed, lock-and-lock container that includes a log book, pencil and few trade items.

I decided to walk the dog in an area I've not visited before today, just as something different. I picked out three caches (this was the second one) and asked Bug Ranger if she'd like to come along. It was a little muddy at first, but cleared up as we got farther from parking (the gate's closed). Nice hide that fits perfectly into its spot. Thanks!

The weather's been so unusually gorgeous lately, and when PathPacer asked me to go along for a hike & a few caches, it just sounded better than my list of chores. We parked at the closed gate & walked the road for three of the caches along the way. Found this one easily. TFTC!

Out caching on Johnny Park road, checking out my caches and enjoying another day in the hills. We were in this area last August, but this section of trail was closed to vehicles, but the gates were open this time so we started at the bottom and drove to this one. Made a quick find, then continued our day. It's still a little brisk with the morning air, but not too much snow yet.
