While visiting family in Tennessee in 2010 , we took our cousin Alex and his parents out with us to do a few geocaches, while taking in some of the sites. Shortly after our visit, Alex and his mom got online, each of them created a geocaching account and started going out and finding geocaches. baby_girl_pepper is the geocache name Alex chose. Pepper was the name of his dog. Alex geocached into 2011. A few years later Alex passed away. He is deeply missed and we wanted his memory to live on.
We had talked about doing a geocache in memory of Alex, so a few month's ago when Alex's mom (our aunt) got in touch with us and asked if we would hide a geocache in Alex's memory, we decided it was time.
The difficulty of this cache is based on the road you have to travel to get to the geocache. You will need a high clearance vehicle with 4-wheel drive. Road is very rocky and rough. This geocache willl be very very difficult to get to in the winter months. Elevation of the geocache is a little over 11,000 ft. and right at tree line. Drive this trail at your own risk.
When logging this cache we wanna here about your experience getting to the cache and of the area. We would also like to see your photos as well.
Please place cache back as you found it.
Have fun and be safe!
