This is the 1st cache to be hidden at the Miller Activity Center. I am hiding for my Webelos in Pack 262.

The first cache to be hidden at the new Miller Activity Center. This is in honor of my Webelos from Pack 262. Permission was obtained by staff for the hide. Even though this is a regional park, have held to the Douglas County Open Space rule of hidden no further than 10' from path. The cache offers a gorgeous veiw of Castle Rock. Oh yeah! you might have a Zip Liner fly over your head as well. Please replace it exactly as hidden.

There is a prize for FTF, a slap bracelet with an 8MB thumb drive.

FTF kenyansherpa Gratz!!!

As icezebra11 reported, we had a great trip to Castle Rock and the Parker area today with his puppy Angel and my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo. We met up at the ParknRide in Loveland at 6 am and drove directly to Castle Rock, starting our cache-finding hikes with the dogs at the Ridgeline Open Space, shifting from there to Miller Park for a long loop hike involving some fine caches, then heading back northward to the Parker and Centennial areas for some good targets. It was a very successful day of geocaching, despite the temperatures reaching at least the mid-90s while were were on the trails. At Miller Park the zip line activities were fascinating; I will need to return there sometime to do the zip line sequence!

I was a scout so many years ago, beginning with Cub Scouts and continuing through Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts. It was an important element of my youth, and I always have some memories of fine times when ever I find a cache related to scouting. And when I find scout patches in caches I trade for them and give them to the son of a geocaching friend who is an avid Boy Scout. Thanks for this scouting cache, redwolfef6!

Denali41 and I, along with his Lab puppies Zaba and Chimi, and my Lab puppy Angel had a great caching day in the Castle Rock and south Metro areas today, scoring on a lot of really nice caches.

Our first stop was to do some hiking in Castle Rock's Ridgeline Open Space. After we finished there, we next went to Miller Park. It was definitely a really warm day on the trails! We parked near the bottom of the incline and did a long clockwise loop through the park. When we arrived at GZ for this cache we could actually see part of the cache from the trail. It was nice to find a regular size container after all the micros we'd found up until then. After signing the log we re-hid the cache better than we found it. Thanks redwolfef6 for luring us up this trail!!!

I am a trail runner at heart and PSM is one of my favorites. I hadn't been out in a while so I thought I would go and try and get all the geocaches today. I was lucky enough to find all of them! TFTC. TNLNSL thanks to included pencil.

We've never been to this park before and we were so impressed by it! The Zip Line Tour, Epic Sky Trek, Epic Adventure Tower, and Ninja Warrior Experience are an adrenaline junkie's delight! The trails and park are clean and family friendly. And in the park there are 7 geocaches waiting to be found! We thoroughly enjoyed our morning hiking and caching in this park, in spite of the warm conditions. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches. This container was out in the open, so we hid it a little better after signing the log. There was only one trackable (DuckTales - Webby) in the container.

What a day! I have been looking forward to this for quite a while. I've been working hard and caching has taken a back seat for the last several weeks. I had planned this day off though to geocache with my brother down in Monument. His work schedule afforded him this day off and I've been planning and strategizing on caches for the last several weeks. The weather was beautiful and the caching extremely successful! We found 11 with no DNFs (although we got close a few times) and I filled in two Jasmer squares and FOUR FIZZY squares.

This was the second to last find for the day. I really wanted to get four new D/T combinations and this was on the list. It was a great hike up here and it was fun seeing this spot which I never knew existed! There were zip liners crossing over us and it was a beautiful day for a hike. The cache itself is in great shape and I love the container.

Unfortunately there wasn't time to get some of the others around here so I just have to plan a return trip to get them!

Thanks for the hide redwolfef6. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

I was out and about caching with herndonrd because I make him look good. He typically finds the caches while I look in all the wrong places. This was one of those typical occasions where I read off the description and/or prior logs and he simply ignores me and finds the cache. Hooray! After we did the whole sign and replace thing we celebrated our victory by heading back to the car and driving off to another one. Thanks for the fun hide and for getting me outside on such a beautiful day.

P. S. No animals (humans or otherwise) were harmed in the writing of this log.
