Out and about getting a few things for my main hobby and decided to follow some Muggle Mimi advice and do a little walkabout (the main hobby is new, unrelated to geocaching, though I can use it geocaching). So after picking up a few items I decided to go for a walk and pick up a few puzzles that I’d solved a while back. This was much more successful than the last time I came here looking to pick up a puzzle or three, something about snow not being on the ground now unlike last time (though it is Springs Mud Season). The cache is in great shape, the puzzle was fun too. Appreciate both!

Gamma solved this puzzle a while ago but we weren't able to find it back in February. Got a hint from the CO and were able to make the find today. Good hide. Signed log. Thanks for the fun puzzle.

Well, that was an adventure! I solved the puzzle a while ago and saved it for a lunch time grab. Today I headed over to it but didn't realize how hot it was. I was in a hurry since I had limited time and resorted to several PAF's for help. Everyone responded at about the same time, but I soon realized I was not feeling well. I sat down and told one of my PAF's about my possible plight. After laying there for a bit I started to feel better and finally found the cache. Boy did I feel dumb. Now, to get back to the office. My PAF kept checking in with me and I finally made it back. Boy, am I glad for the kindness and helpfulness of fellow cachers - there's nothing better! TFTC.

Went out for a birthday hike on this beautiful afternoon...the second hike of the day! Now that I'm officially in my 30s (ouch, that looks harsh written out!), I have to make a concerted effort to stay in shape, huh? I'll happily do it one 0.1 mile sprint at a time! :-) Solved the puzzle easily enough on my first try...guess being a nerd pays off sometimes. The find was much harder, though! Looked in the right area for about 15 min before resorting to phoning friends (the previous finders). The light hits this cache perfectly so that it looks almost invisible! Thanks for this memorable cache :-)

Thanks for the fun puzzle! I've tried this one many times but always seem to hit a brick wall. I reached out to the CO awhile back and was directed, of course, to the library. Sheesh, so old school! I put this one on the back burner until sometime in the future.

Monday we had our GCCO Trackable Race kickoff event at the downtown library. I printed this cache out ahead of time and placed in in my bag of goodies to complete. Well , there was too much set up and clean up for me to get this. On the way out I mentioned I had forgotten to get this one. THeSKuLL mentioned that it CAN be done with online resources. I was directed to an effective search method and after a couple sites and reading I finally found something that would work. Checker confirmed! I contacted THeSKuLL this afternoon to thank him for the searching tips and asked if he would like to join me. He agreed!

We met up at the nearby parking and made the hike over to the final. After about 20 minutes of searching high and low far and wide I broke down and contacted the CO. Honestly I was worried that after nearly 3 years of this one not being found it may be gone. I was given a pretty detail hint and we set back out to searching. 15 minutes later we finally spotted the cache! Wow, for being in "plain sight" that is one elusive cache! Equally amazing is that it is in perfect condition and perfectly dry! We signed and stamped the log and returned as found. I snapped a couple pictures and thanked the CO for the help.

Well done all the way around! I enjoyed all the challenges involved!

This old dude solved this old school cache with the high tech Interwebs. Unfortunately, no technology was gonna help RPieperCO and myself find this. Even after a couple PAFs we had a hard time spotting it. Nice placement. Still looks good!! TFTC!

Stopped by to check out this cache that I had found previously, and it is in great shape. Spent a fun morning caching in Ute Valley with BuffaloBill4031, Fairyduster16 and K9jayhawk. They signed it.

Such a beautiful day so I decided to head out to this area for some hiking and cleaning up solved puzzles. I hunted around for a bit, but couldn't find it. Then after reading some of the previous logs I was able to redirect to a different area and made the find quickly. Sl, thanks!

I solved the puzzle a few weeks back but finally had a some time today to come out and get it. Got to admit it took me a long time to find...a bit too long but once my GPSr settled down I spotted it quickly. Glad I hung in there! Thanks for a great puzzle and cache challenge!
