We had to make a small adjustment to our numbers in the field. Then we found it with no problem. TFTC

Found the stage with the 'artwork' in good shape, as was the final. Took a nudge to get this one in hand. Didn't do the math right the first time, or we'd have had it on a previous visit. The container was no surprise once we got to the right spot. Classic T&S!

The needed maintenance has been done. Cache on.

First stage is missing, may have to readjust. And if readjustment is not possible it may be archived. Actually the real purpose of this cache was met, and only the few that can think outside of the box, were able to locate it.

Found with Cache U who knew what to do for this one. We enjoyed both stages and visiting a park that doesn't get a lot of muggle traffic. We always enjoy Tahosa's caches; it's too bad more people haven't done this one. Thanks for the fun!

Found with Sam_I_AM. We wanted to do a multi this week, and Tahosa's caches never disappoint. Fortunately I have seen this trick before, so we didn't have to go scuba diving for this one! Both stages are doing well. Thanks for the fun multi!

Decided to head out before Christmas arrived to do a little quality caching, I have to admit I had some troubles coming up with stage one on this cache, I had a couple great ideas how to start but ended up going nowhere, so in went the white towel, after a small nudge from the CO, and a little tweaking in my thought process the gears started turning the right way, while walking up to stage one I realized I was right in the middle of a nicely conceived multi! Stage two was straight forward after this and found myself signing the the near empty log. Thanks Joe for another great cache, I truly enjoyed this one!

I was finally able to sign the log on this quality multi today. I had first attempted it on October 10th when I had the day off for the Columbus Day holiday. That day I successfully found Stage 1 and with that information I plugged in the coordinates for Stage 2 (the final) and went to that location. I was pretty sure I had the correct location but after searching for some time I was unable to come up with the container. I mentioned my DNF to the honoree (Denali41) and he said the hide was pretty easy so it may have been muggled.
I left on the 14th for a week of pheasant hunting in SD and then this past week I had a business trip to Sacramento so I wasn't able to make another attempt until today. I saw Tahosa's note on the cache page that the container was indeed missing and that he had replaced it so I headed for Fort Collins. Once I arrived at GZ it really was a quick find and I was happy to know I had not missed the obvious the first time there.
I had the pleasure of first meeting Denali41 at a local event about a year after I began caching. I was just starting to get into backcountry caches and we had an enjoyable conversation about some caches I had done and some of his caches I was planning to do. The first time I hiked with him was in July 2013 when we went to Copper Mountain as an outing to log some quality caches and for me to qualify for Tahosa's GeoTouring and GeoTeering caches. We had a great time and we have enjoyed many wonderful outings since. One of those outings included a November 2014 caching roadtrip to Phoenix to visit and cache with Tahosa.
Ah yes, 7.5 decades, a milestone that we celebrated at Nordy's in September. It was also a birthday celebration for Tahosa, Denali50, and my wife who each were born on the 20th of September. Joe, this is a wonderful cache to honor Steve. Its setup is one I really enjoyed and I'm sure Steve did too. Thanks for this great tribute to a fine man!!!
