Sadly this one fooled us. Thinking it might be there but we didn’t find it this time. We’ll be back!

Difficulty rating needs to be adjusted or the cache should be confirmed. Searched for a long while and came up empty handed.

Found it

I did give this a pretty good look but the trail was full of muggles so didn't want to look like I was starting a construction project. No legitimate finds since last year & so many DNFs leads the CO to believe it is probably missing too.

Oh well. No luck for us here.

Cache is dry (at the moment) and ready to be found - >when will it stop raining every afternoon?<

Move just a little, but a dryer area. Cache description also updated to reflect changes.

Discovered that DryCreek Black Rock Valley becomes Black Rock Pond when snows melt. Turns out to be a community holding pond. This is not good for logs that don't swim. Moving a short distance away, to higher ground. Nothing "DryCreek" about a soggy log.

Disabled for a few days until a replacement is put in a "Dry" situation. Thanks Live2kcik for the notification on your 271 consecutive day of caching.

Original cache found buried under large rocks. Repaired cache in place. Lighter colored rock along concrete edge. Please don't rehide cache under large rocks, this is caching, not rock lifting.
