A walk down the beaten path for this cache as you enjoy the view of the prairie around you.

A cache reachable from the top of the "tree valley". No need to enter the gulch, nor take a slide down the banks to get into the "Tree valley". Today @WindAtMyBack and I came up north for an event. We saw many friends and decided to go caching afterward with @2lablovers . We targeted caches with a higher D/T rating.
Thks one was easy to find because the camoglauge has worn off . Log is in great shape. Tftc!

Since I figure today will be our last cold day for a while, I decided to grab some caches over here while the creepy crawlies are keeping warm(ish) somewhere. I didn't dress quite warmly enough, but as I started moving it took the chill off. Big Dry Creek never disappoints and I saw an otter, rabbits, prairie dogs, and lots of birds. Again, the prairie dogs announced my presence as I walked to the cache. And there were more baby prairie dogs. I was probably a little too cautious, but I took a wide path around the sinkholes. Had a little trouble finding the cache, it had rolled a bit down into the gully. I reattached it to the tether and hopefully it won't roll back down if it falls out again. Other than being out of place the cache was fine. This was the last one of the day. When I was almost back to the car I saw a rabbit. Its cheeks were so full of grass it looked like it had a great big fuzzy mustache. Thanks for the hunt! Find #2429.
