This cache is located along Reilly Canyon Trail. Park in small trailhead parking area just behind, the self-service station.
A day-use fee is required.

The road that this trail parallels is the old Highway 12, which ran though this area before the Trinidad Dam was built. After the dam was built, the highway was rerouted, just north of here. It is amazing to see how nature is reclaiming the old highway after only 30 years.
