Today, after the Jim Reeb event, I teamed up with @2lablovers to grab a few caches. Along the way we saw pronghorn, deer, and several Raptors. We grabbed a multi, a challenge cache, and several traditionals ending our day together at the north end of Colorado Springs. After they went back home, I continued the hunt and grabbed a few more before heading back to Aurora. It's always fun to go geocaching. It's even more fun to do it with friends! Found this one alone.
I solved this soon after it was published. But it's not close to home, so it took a while to get down here. Signed the log and grabbed some Mississippi.Mud. tftc-

Staying overnight at the Great Wolf Lodge as a thank you from a local Denver cacher for some work I did for him. First time here! Quite a place. I was up early before the rest of the family so I did a cache run and this was the second of 7 I found.

I wanted this not just because it was a multi but because I’m trying to get all of T5Ms caches in Colorado. This was right down the street from where we were and morning was the perfect time to be here. I found it quickly and then walked through the drive thru! I know, such a rebel.

Glad to get one step closer to 100 multis and one step closer to getting all this CO’s caches.

After going to the CITO .
event on the south side of town, my youngest son BoopaBeans and I went to Great Wolf Lodge so we could spend lots of time and money indoors on a beautiful day.

But I digress.

After we were through, we stopped here for your multi. I offered to get him ice cream so we could take our picture, and this is when my universe turned upside down. When I asked him if he wanted ice cream, his reply was, "No, thank you. I feel like I have had enough sugar for today." Now I know what the aliens did during their invasion on January 12th, as the boy in my geo-hoopty is clearly an extraterrestrial impostor.

Because of this unexpected reply, we did not consume any ice cream and take the required photo. Should you choose to delete my log, my geocaching account, or any memory of my existence, I understand as these are all reasonable penalties for the crime committed.

But I digress.

We did find the cache, which was incredibly exciting. I am giving this hide a flavorite point (see what I did there?) for the whole experience. Thanks for the fun hide and for your addition to a great day of caching, road cleaning, and money hemorrhaging.

Going to call this one a DNF but I feel like I'm just missing the obvious here haha. I went to the location and thought that I'd be able to decipher the puzzle there but came out empty handed. Okay I didn't actually come out empty handed, I bought a small cup of "Banana's Foster," but you get what I'm saying.

COpackrat and I were enjoying a day of caching around the Springs and she mentioned this one during lunch. Once we had the coords we made quick work of the final. TFTC

A convenient cache for hungry cachers. It was a little chilly for one of the 31 options, but I enjoyed a satisfactory alternative. Thanks for placing a cache in this area.

We solved the puzzle last night and made the quick find today. It was difficult resisting the urge to get a scoop of peanut butter chocolate ice cream while we were there :o) Thanks for the cache.

Solved a few minutes after it was published, but couldn't come up until after work. Met up with Qaz for co-{*FTF*}! Quick, wow! I had expected a 31 part multi! This wasn't a multi, actually...just a puzzle, but thanks for the multi icon. After signing the log, we looked for another nearby cache, then parted ways, at which point, I returned to this location for a backwards dinner. Yum! Thanks for placing this cache!

I was at work and Kerewin shoots me a message about a new cache in town. Sweet! a few minutes later she had it solved, then was the long wait.... For both of us to get out or work. I got out a bit before she did and I headed up to the GZ. Did the search and found the container. Soon She showed up to sign the log also and the {FTF} was made! Yeah! After this one was signed we headed over to the church to look for a lonely cache. Sadly that one was a bust. Thanks for the new cache and a great reason to get out caching again!
